Key Account Manager – Environment

About the role

As a Key Account Manager – Environment at AECOM, you will lead strategic account growth for clients in the Environment, Health & Safety, Sustainability, Risk Management and Engineering Consulting sectors. You will act as the primary liaison between key clients and our multidisciplinary delivery teams, ensuring high‑quality consulting solutions and strong client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage designated key accounts, develop executive‑level relationships and align service offerings with client business priorities.
• Identify and pursue account expansion, cross‑selling and upselling opportunities to meet revenue targets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope and to client expectations.
• Conduct regular account reviews, business reviews and solution workshops with clients.
• Address client concerns proactively, drive customer success and gather feedback for service improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in key account management, consulting sales or strategic account management.
• Proven ability to manage enterprise‑level client relationships and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM platform) proficiency.
• Experience with other CRM platforms.
