Junior System Administrator

About the role

Azista is seeking a proactive Junior System Administrator to support its IT infrastructure in Sanand, Ahmedabad. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations across Windows and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and reliable service for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server and basic Linux servers.
• Perform Linux user management, file permission handling, package installation and service control.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP.
• Monitor system performance, manage backups, restore operations and disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Apply patches, updates and perform routine system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage firewall and security appliances (e.g., FortiGate).
• Support email services on Microsoft 365 / Exchange.
• Provide first‑line support to end‑users and document all procedures.

Required profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in system administration.
• Availability to work six days a week on‑site.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
