Junior Supply Chain Manager – Retail/F&B

About the role

Amadora, a premium ice‑cream brand with multiple stores in Chennai, is seeking a Junior Supply Chain Manager to oversee the daily flow of stock from its central kitchen and warehouse to each storefront. This hands‑on position ensures shelves are always stocked, waste is minimized, and the brand’s quality standards are maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly store indents and purchase orders based on consumption and stock reports.
• Monitor inventory across all stores, flagging shortages, overstock, and wastage.
• Coordinate with vendors on ordering, deliveries, and timelines.
• Track dry stock, packaging (cones/cups), and raw‑material consumption.
• Reconcile stock counts and investigate variances.
• Analyze daily sales and consumption data to improve forecasting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and identify efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, inventory, procurement, or operations (F&B or retail a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain or operations.
• Strong attention to detail and a numbers‑driven mindset.
• Well‑organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple stores simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for vendor and store team coordination.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with POS/inventory systems (e.g., Petpooja).
