About the role
Assystem is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of bridge projects in Bengaluru. The role offers the opportunity to work on both superstructure and substructure elements while developing technical expertise in a dynamic engineering environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support design and analysis of bridge superstructures and substructures, preparing calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes such as IRC, AASHTO and Eurocodes.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and drafting teams, and assist in site visits providing technical support.
- Design and detail pre‑stressed concrete girders, including load calculations, tendon layout and stress checks.
Required profile
- BTech or MTech in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Readiness to join immediately.
Required skills
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, MIDAS or SAP2000.
- Familiarity with bridge design codes (IRC, AASHTO, Eurocodes).
