Junior Service Desk Specialist (L1)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Service Desk Specialist to join our IT team. You will be the first point of contact for users needing technical assistance, handling a variety of hardware, software, and cloud‑based issues.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log incidents and service requests via phone, email or ticketing system (ServiceNow).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity and Microsoft cloud tools.
• Perform basic configuration and management tasks in Intune, Active Directory, Azure, Exchange Admin and O365.
• Provide password resets, account unlocks and simple application support.
• Escalate complex problems to L2/L3 teams while ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Contribute to internal knowledge‑base articles and user guides.
• Maintain a professional, customer‑focused attitude in all interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BCA, BCOM, BSC, BA) or equivalent.
• 1‑4 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Customer‑centric attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player eager to learn and grow.
