Junior Quality Analyst – Software Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Quality Analyst to join our product team in Kolkata. You will help ensure the software we ship is reliable by testing new features, identifying defects early, and gaining deep knowledge of our CPG finance product.

Key responsibilities

• Learn each new feature quickly and test it from a user’s perspective.
• Create and execute manual test cases covering regression, exploratory, negative and cross‑browser scenarios.
• Verify data accuracy, calculations, matching and imports.
• Log clear defects, retest fixes and keep test documentation up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate daily with developers, product managers and designers within an Agile sprint cycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Continuously build product knowledge and suggest improvements to testing processes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on software testing experience, preferably on web applications.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum practices or a willingness to learn.
• Clear written communication skills for effective bug reporting.
• Team‑player with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Based in Kolkata or nearby and able to work onsite.
