Junior Purchase/Sourcing Executive – Chemicals & Naturals

About the role

Bulkaroma is seeking a Junior Purchase/Sourcing Executive to support the procurement of aroma chemicals and fragrance ingredients for its 1,500+ SKU catalog. You will work closely with suppliers in India and abroad, handling RFQs, negotiations, and order tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Source aroma chemicals and fragrance ingredients from manufacturers and suppliers across India and overseas.
• Float RFQs, collect and compare quotations, and negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms.
• Raise purchase orders, track them through delivery, and follow up on dispatch, documentation, and delays.
• Maintain supplier database, price lists, and sourcing records.
• Coordinate with QC and warehouse teams on incoming material issues.
• Identify new suppliers and alternate sources for existing materials.

Required profile

• Any graduate (BBA, B.Sc, M.Sc, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related).
• 1‑3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing; freshers also considered.
• Strong negotiation and follow‑up abilities, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Good English communication for dealing with overseas suppliers.
• Added advantage: experience sourcing chemicals, aroma ingredients, or specialty raw materials; exposure to imports, HS codes, or international supplier coordination.
