Junior IT Support Engineer – Night Shift (Chennai)

About the role

Join Arcadia’s fast‑growing IT team as a Junior IT Support Engineer working the fixed night‑shift in Chennai. You will be the first point of contact for global users, handling hardware, software and access issues while leveraging AI tools to accelerate ticket resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end technical support for macOS and Windows devices, including hardware diagnostics and software provisioning.
• Manage the full ticket lifecycle in Jira Service Desk, from intake through resolution, and collaborate with senior technicians on complex cases.
• Execute onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring correct access to Google Workspace, Slack, Okta and other SaaS platforms.
• Utilise AI‑enabled troubleshooting assistants to research solutions, draft documentation and improve resolution speed.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and data records within automated workflows during the night‑shift.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or technical support environment.
• Solid knowledge of macOS and Windows troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Familiarity with user‑account management in Google Workspace, Slack and Okta.
• Strong interest in using AI tools to streamline support tasks.
• Willingness to work onsite in Chennai on a fixed night‑shift schedule (5 nights/week, no weekends).
• Clear, empathetic communication skills for assisting non‑technical users.
