Junior Designer

About the role

We are seeking a curious Junior Designer to join Benne’s design team as we expand into new locations. You will help translate the Benne brand into physical spaces and customer touchpoints, working across brand, space, hospitality and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support design development for new Benne outlets, creating layouts, visual references and material solutions.
• Review existing locations to identify design gaps, maintenance issues and improvement opportunities.
• Observe customer and team interactions with spaces to propose practical enhancements.
• Contribute ideas to strengthen brand experience across packaging, merchandising and retail touchpoints.
• Prepare presentations and design documentation to ensure consistency across outlets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, architects, contractors and external collaborators to bring concepts to execution.

Required profile

• Strong design education or foundation in design‑thinking.
• Curiosity about food, culture, hospitality, retail and brand experience.
• Good eye for space, detail, proportion, materials and visual language.
• Ability to observe patterns, identify problems and frame design opportunities.
• Problem‑solving mindset with lateral thinking and unexpected solutions.
• Comfort moving between ideation, documentation, coordination and execution.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and initiative in a fast‑growing startup environment.
