Junior Designer – Furniture Factory (Panaji)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our furniture factory in Panaji. The role is full‑time and on‑site, supporting the creation of new furniture concepts and ensuring they are production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Translate design briefs into practical furniture solutions.
• Prepare sketches, digital models and detailed drawings using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with senior designers, carpenters and production staff to align designs with manufacturing constraints.
• Assist in material selection and maintain design standards and quality.
• Contribute ideas to improve product aesthetics, ergonomics and functionality.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of carpentry practices and furniture construction methods.
• Understanding of interior design principles and spatial requirements.
• Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced factory environment.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with CAD software.
• Ability to create 2D and 3D models.
• Hand sketching for concept development.
