Junior Civil Assistant – Transmission & Distribution (2027 Campus)

About the role

You will join the T&D Global Practice, supporting the design of transmission and distribution infrastructure worldwide. Reporting to department and functional managers, you will work on projects involving overhead transmission lines, substations, distribution networks, industrial electrical facilities, and pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform transmission line planning, modelling, analysis and design using PLS‑CADD, PLS‑Pole and PLS‑Tower.
• Conduct structural analysis and design of lattice towers and line poles (steel, LD, wood) and related foundations.
• Prepare design calculation reports, single‑line diagrams, structural framing drawings, plan‑profile diagrams, construction and authority permit drawings, and wire‑sag/tension analyses.
• Develop design criteria, bill of materials, engineering estimates and conduct quality‑control reviews.
• Coordinate design assignments, lead design teams and participate in technical client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited Indian institute.
• Minimum 60% academic marks and graduation in the 2027 batch.
• Proficiency in English and willingness to travel within the continental U.S. as needed.
• Prior internship in transmission or distribution projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
