Junior Associate – Corporate & Disputes (Mumbai)

About the role

Vis Legis Law Practice (VLLP) is seeking a motivated Junior Associate to join its Corporate & Disputes practice in Mumbai. Working from the Nariman Point office, you will collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on a wide range of corporate, commercial and dispute resolution matters.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients before courts, tribunals, NCLT, arbitrators and other regulatory bodies.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, pleadings, legal notices and transaction documents.
• Assist in corporate transactions, commercial advisory and regulatory compliance matters.
• Conduct detailed legal research and prepare opinions, case briefs and strategy notes.
• Manage client relationships and deliver commercially practical legal solutions.
• Liaise with government authorities, external counsel and other stakeholders.
• Support partners in arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Participate in business development initiatives, client pitches and networking events.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification experience in litigation, arbitration or corporate law.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
