About the role
Decon Architects is seeking a Junior Architect to join its Chennai studio. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on creating innovative, sustainable spaces that align with the firm’s emphasis on functionality, biophilia and environmental responsibility.
Key responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts and detailed design drawings for residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects.
- Collaborate with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams to integrate software development solutions into design workflows.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling and coordination to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare presentation materials and visualisations for client meetings.
- Support documentation and compliance checks throughout project phases.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in architectural design.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
