Junior Architect / Architectural Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Architect / Architectural Assistant to join our Chennai office. This full‑time, on‑site position supports senior architects in concept development, design drawing preparation and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior architects with concept development and preparation of design drawings.
• Draft, revise and produce detailed architectural plans and documentation.
• Prepare presentation materials and project reports.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and external consultants.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress and resolve design‑related issues.
• Help select materials, prepare schedules and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong architectural design and drafting abilities.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods and local building codes.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Chennai and visit project locations.
• Prior internship or up to 2 years of experience in an architectural or construction firm is an advantage.
