Junior Accountant – GST, Tally & Tax Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic CA firm in Kolkata. The successful candidate will apply solid accounting knowledge together with expertise in GST, Tally and Income Tax to support our clients and internal finance functions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure all related compliance work is completed on time.
- Handle income tax filings, monitor tax liabilities and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Prepare client accounts, financial statements and related reports.
- Assist with audits, statutory requirements and other regulatory filings.
Required profile
- B.Com degree with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Required skills
- GST compliance and filing.
- Income Tax regulations and filing.
- Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
