Jewellery Designer

About the role

Maison Megh is seeking a creative Jewellery Designer to join its design team in Gurgaon. You will be responsible for developing innovative jewellery concepts and turning them into finished pieces that reflect the brand’s playful and unexpected aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new jewellery concepts and collections from idea to final product.
• Translate creative direction, references and sketches into hand sketches, design sheets and CAD designs.
• Collaborate with production partners to develop samples and oversee production.
• Ensure designs are feasible in terms of proportions, construction, stone setting, finishing and manufacturing.
• Iterate designs based on sampling and production feedback.
• Research materials, techniques, references and new ways of working with silver.
• Maintain organised design files, product specifications and design libraries.
• Work closely with the founder and wider creative team across collections, campaigns and new product development.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in jewellery or product design.
• Strong understanding of jewellery construction, manufacturing and gemstone settings.
• Excellent design sensibility with attention to detail.
• Ability to think conceptually while obsessing over technical details.
• Curious, experimental mindset and willingness to challenge conventional ideas.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hand sketching and visualisation.
• CAD experience, preferably with Rhino or Matrix.
