Jewellery CAD Designer

About the role

The company is seeking a full‑time Jewellery CAD Designer to work on‑site in Jaipur. You will convert design concepts and hand sketches into precise 2‑D and 3‑D CAD models that are ready for manufacturing and stone setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate 2‑D drawings and 3‑D models from designers’ sketches.
• Create detailed construction drawings and technical documentation for production, stone setting and quality control.
• Ensure technical feasibility, structural integrity and optimal metal thickness for casting and finishing.
• Collaborate with designers, craftsmen and production teams to refine designs based on feedback.
• Maintain an organized digital library of CAD files and related documents.
• Support prototyping and coordinate with vendors or internal teams on production specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer or in a comparable jewellery design/production role.
• Diploma or degree in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, Industrial Design or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with jewellery CAD software for creating 2‑D and 3‑D models.
• Ability to produce precise construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of design engineering principles applied to jewellery, including metal thickness, setting techniques and structural durability.
• Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes such as casting, hand fabrication and finishing.
• Familiarity with gemstones and metal properties.
