Jewellery CAD Designer – 3D Modeling & Rendering

About the role

Akarva Studio is seeking a full‑time Jewellery Computer‑Aided Design Designer to join its on‑site team in Haldwani. You will transform creative briefs into precise 3D jewellery models, prepare CAD files for production, and create realistic renders for client presentations and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of jewellery pieces using CAD software.
• Prepare production‑ready CAD files for casting, CNC machining, and hand‑setting.
• Generate high‑quality visual renders for client review and promotional material.
• Interpret design briefs, sketch concepts, and revise designs based on feedback.
• Maintain organized design libraries and coordinate with production teams.
• Stay updated on CAD tools, jewellery trends, and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience with jewellery CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhinoceros, Matrix, ZBrush).
• Proficiency in 3D rendering and visualization to produce client‑ready images.
• Solid understanding of jewellery design principles, materials, stone settings, and manufacturing processes such as casting, CNC, and hand‑setting.
• Excellent attention to detail, accurate measurements, and ability to create technically sound designs.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, clients, and production teams.
• Relevant education in jewellery design, industrial design, or a related field is beneficial; professional experience in a jewellery CAD environment preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Haldwani, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving design requirements.
