JavaScript Web Developer

About the role

Dassault Systèmes is looking for a JavaScript Web Developer to join its Pune team. You will help design, develop, and maintain web applications that support scientific software engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define functional behavior, limitations, and acceptance tests for new features.
• Design implementation approaches, select algorithms, and plan user interfaces.
• Document specifications in Product and Design Enhancement Specification Documents.
• Develop, compile, and run unit tests while following CI/CD processes and KPI metrics.
• Track dependencies, share knowledge within the team, and improve code quality up to defined metrics.
• Monitor usage metrics and user feedback after deployment to drive continuous improvement.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on severe issues and propose preventive actions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and competitor products.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in software development.
• BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent.
• Strong background in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with MySQL databases and cloud‑based services.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment, software architecture, and performance optimization.
