Java Technical Lead – Software Development

About the role

As a Java Technical Lead you will drive the creation of new products and enhancements to existing semiconductor and display equipment from concept to launch. You will work within a cross‑functional global team, providing software solutions that integrate with complex product systems.

Key responsibilities

• Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
• Design and code complex Java software features with thorough documentation.
• Write automation for new and existing features.
• Provide customer support, troubleshoot, and resolve difficult software problems.
• Proactively communicate development status and any delays.
• Interface with global teams for requirements analysis and scheduling.
• Collaborate with external customers on software issues.
• Travel up to 20% for short‑term onsite assignments such as feature integrations and version installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 7‑10 years of overall experience, including at least 6 years in software development and 3 years in core product development.
• Strong object‑oriented design and programming expertise.
• Professional experience with Core Java technologies (design patterns, multi‑threading, data structures, algorithms).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
