Java Technical Lead

About the role

As a Tech Lead you will participate in creating new products and enhancing existing ones from concept to launch, working within a cross‑functional team. You will apply your system understanding to deliver robust software solutions for semiconductor and display equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
• Design and code complex software features with adequate documentation.
• Write automation for new and existing features.
• Provide customer support, troubleshoot and fix difficult software problems.
• Proactively communicate development status and any delays.
• Interface with global teams for requirements analysis and scheduling.
• Interact with external customers regarding software issues.
• Travel to onsite locations for short‑term assignments such as feature integrations and version installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7‑10 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years in software development and 3 years in core product development.
• Strong object‑oriented design and programming expertise.
• Professional experience with Core Java technologies (design patterns, multi‑threading, data structures, algorithms).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Knowledge of best practices and integration with other areas.
