Java Solution Architect – Payments (Vadodara)

About the role

Capco is seeking a senior Java Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of payment‑focused solutions for a client in Vadodara. The role combines deep Java backend expertise with hands‑on architecture of micro‑service platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, secure Java‑based micro‑services for end‑to‑end payment journeys.
• Define solution architecture, technical designs, integration patterns and engineering standards across product, mobile, DevOps and security teams.
• Provide technical leadership, review code and designs, and guide engineering teams through complex architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with senior client and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE backend development and solution architecture.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, micro‑services, REST APIs and API integrations.
• Extensive experience in the payments domain and designing high‑performance distributed systems.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
