Java Full‑Stack / Backend Developer

About the role

Infosys is looking for an experienced Java Full‑Stack / Backend Developer to join its Power Programmer initiative. You will work on cutting‑edge AI‑enabled platforms, contributing to design, development and deployment of cloud‑native services for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Java applications using Java 11+ and Spring Boot/Hibernate.
• Develop, test and maintain backend services, ensuring high code quality and rapid issue resolution.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver features and enhancements, managing stakeholder expectations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes or Mesos/Marathon.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources on AWS, using Terraform or AWS CLI for infrastructure as code.
• Monitor performance and reliability using tools such as InfluxDB, Grafana, ELK stack, and Sensu.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in system design and architecture.
• Proven experience in a DevOps environment and product development (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work in agile teams.
