Java Full Stack Developer – Global Markets IT

About the role

The Java Full Stack Developer will join the Beagle team within CIB Global Markets IT, supporting complex projects across FX, Commodities & Settlements. The role focuses on evolving the web platform for Corporate & Institutional Banking, delivering high‑performance, scalable solutions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance and develop applications using Core Java, Struts2, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular, Hibernate and Oracle.
• Analyse technical problems, document solutions and ensure functional understanding of applications.
• Conduct integration, regression and functional testing, meeting delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Team Lead, reporting issues that affect project timelines.
• Follow software development lifecycle standards and contribute to configuration & release management.
• Provide L3 support for production and UAT environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on development experience with Core Java (1.6+).
• Strong knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Boot, REST APIs and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL on Oracle 19c, including stored procedures, triggers and indexes.
• Solid understanding of OO concepts, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, test‑driven development and deployment automation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and coordination skills.
