Java Application Integration Developer

About the role

Join Morgan Stanley’s Enterprise Technology team as a Java Application Integration Developer. You will be responsible for integrating data from multiple source platforms, building secure RESTful services, and optimizing MongoDB structures to support HR, Digital Marketing, and Corporate Communication technology.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data from SOAP, REST, Java, and Apache Camel services into MongoDB.
• Design and optimize MongoDB database structures for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for downstream consumers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability.
• Implement data‑encryption technologies and ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, ORM, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with RDBMS (DB2 preferred, Sybase a plus) and complex SQL queries.
• Background in enterprise application and vendor integration.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile development practices.
• Object‑oriented design and development expertise.
• Ability to work in a global delivery environment with a focus on production stability.
