About the role
The company is looking for an experienced Java Developer/BI Engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using JasperReports Server and Jaspersoft Studio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop complex operational and analytical reports, dashboards and scheduled report distributions for multiple business units.
- Integrate reporting solutions with enterprise applications and various databases, ensuring performance, accuracy and security.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts and development teams to gather requirements, optimise SQL queries and resolve production issues.
- Administer JasperReports Server, including user access, report deployment, scheduling and system configuration.
Required profile
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with JasperReports Server/Jaspersoft administration and development.
- Proven experience upgrading JasperReports Server versions (e.g., from 6.x to 8/9/10).
- Strong knowledge of Java 17/21, Tomcat 10/11 and Jakarta EE migration.
- Experience with Spring Security and SSO/SAML/OIDC/LDAP/AD integrations.
