About the role
An ITI Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial setups.
Key responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, control panels, and distribution boards.
- Connect transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and relays.
- Inspect and repair electrical systems, wiring faults, and equipment malfunctions.
- Perform preventive maintenance of motors, lighting, and power systems.
- Use testing tools such as multimeters and megger for insulation testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Monitor and maintain uninterrupted power supply, assist in shutdown maintenance and load management.
- Maintain maintenance logs and daily activity reports.
