IT System Administrator – Pune

About the role

Future Market Insights is seeking a proactive IT System Administrator to oversee its Pune delivery centre. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure while providing day‑to‑day support to employees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Handle user access, system security, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Configure and maintain Windows and Linux environments, as well as macOS devices.
• Administer email services, internet connectivity, VPNs, and PFSense firewalls.
• Provide technical support and resolve IT‑related queries from staff.
• Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and security protocols.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations and timely software updates.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as a System or IT Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
• Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux administration.
• Good grasp of networking concepts, firewalls (PFSense), Wi‑Fi, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with hardware/software installation, system security, backups, and user access management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, email configuration, and IT support tools.
