IT System Administrator – Mangalore

About the role

The company is looking for an IT System Administrator to monitor, maintain and troubleshoot its computer systems, networks and overall IT infrastructure. You will provide reliable technical support to end‑users while working in rotational shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Linux and Windows servers, as well as general network systems.
• Handle server hardware, IT equipment support, and monitor resource usage and performance.
• Apply system updates, install software, and deploy patches.
• Configure network devices to ensure proper connectivity.
• Assist in implementing security measures for data protection and endpoint security.
• Set up data backups and support disaster recovery efforts.
• Provide dedicated help‑desk support to end‑users.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Maintain clear, organized documentation for systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to meet technology needs.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT administration, system administration or technical support.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop technical skills.
