IT Support Technician L1 – Onsite (Patna)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician (Level 1) to provide on‑site deskside assistance at our Patna location. The role involves handling day‑to‑day hardware and software issues, supporting end‑users, and ensuring a stable desktop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities and break/fix tasks.
• Manage device lifecycle: configuration, OS imaging, patching, and vendor hardware replacements.
• Use SCCM, Intune and ServiceNow for asset tracking, ticket resolution and remote assistance.
• Install, update and patch approved software in line with IT policies.
• Provide remote and on‑site support for Microsoft Office, Outlook, VPN clients and basic macOS devices.
• Maintain security compliance, antivirus monitoring and desktop policy enforcement.
• Offer VIP support and act as primary contact during critical escalations.
• Assist with Active Directory user account tasks and smart‑hands support.
• Document incidents, hardware inventory and create technical guides.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on IT support experience (L1/L2 deskside).
• Proven ability to work on‑site and handle high‑priority incidents.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident and problem management processes.
