IT Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Specialist will provide high‑quality onsite and remote assistance to GGH employees, including senior executives, ensuring the IT infrastructure runs smoothly, securely, and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and remote technical support for PCs, servers, mobile devices, printers, networks, video‑conferencing, WMS devices, CCTV cameras, time‑and‑attendance and access‑control systems.
• Configure, install, test, and patch hardware and related software.
• Monitor and maintain local IT infrastructure, responding quickly to outages.
• Coordinate problem resolution with remote IT teams or external vendors.
• Provide proactive maintenance and monitoring to prevent issues.
• Develop a knowledge base of resolved incidents and keep hardware/software inventory and documentation up to date.
• Participate in investment projects, budget planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Execute additional tasks to support GGH’s operational continuity.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in IT, electronics, electrical engineering, automation or related field (degree desirable).
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, hardware, software, services and their application in a manufacturing environment.
