IT Support Officer

About the role

Geidea is looking for an IT Support Officer to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to its employees. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network and account issues while ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain availability and performance of workplace IT services, including endpoints, LAN/Wi‑Fi, printing, meeting rooms and peripherals.
• Handle L1/L2 tickets from diagnosis to resolution, document actions and escalate complex cases.
• Administer Active Directory accounts, security groups and permissions following least‑privilege principles.
• Prepare, configure and maintain user devices with approved OS builds, drivers, encryption, antivirus/EDR and baseline policies.
• Support on‑prem services such as DNS/DHCP, file/print services and authentication.
• Execute approved changes like software deployments, patch coordination and device replacements.
• Maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, asset records and repeat‑incident fixes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on IT support, service‑desk or office IT operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and SLA‑driven support mindset.
