IT Support Engineer – Night Shift

About the role

As an IT Support Engineer at Cintra, you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance across a global organisation. Working night‑shift from Chandigarh, you will ensure smooth onboarding, rapid incident resolution and continuous service availability for teams in the UK, US and India.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single front‑door for all IT requests via FreshService, logging, categorising and resolving or escalating incidents within SLA.
• Execute and improve Joiner‑Mover‑Leaver (JML) processes to provision hardware and system access from Day 1.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot corporate Windows 10/11 and macOS devices, including Intune‑managed applications and compliance checks.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles and runbooks for self‑service support.
• Monitor global IT dashboards (Microsoft 365 health, network alerts) and provide first response to outages.
• Provide reliable support across multiple time zones, ensuring teams in the UK, India and the US receive timely assistance.

Required skills

• Experience with ITSM platforms such as FreshService, Zendesk or Jira Service Management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (user provisioning, password resets, group management).
• Strong troubleshooting skills on Windows 10/11 and macOS in a business environment.
• Familiarity with Intune‑managed applications and device compliance.
• Knowledge of laptops, peripherals and modern meeting‑room technology.
