IT Support Engineer – Level 1/2 (India)

About the role

ThreatModeler Software Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to ensure smooth operation of its IT infrastructure and provide high‑quality technical assistance to internal users. You will work on Windows, macOS and Linux environments, handling both Level 1 and Level 2 tickets while supporting security and asset‑management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to end‑users across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS and DHCP.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting steps and resolutions in a structured knowledge base.
• Maintain asset inventory and track software licences.
• Prioritise, escalate and resolve tickets efficiently based on impact.
• Assist with user onboarding and off‑boarding, including account setup and hardware provisioning.
• Promote IT security best practices and help users maintain a secure working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT support role (Level 1/2 preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical users.
• Organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage documentation.
• Experience with ticketing systems and basic asset‑management processes.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a compassionate, patient approach.
