IT Support Engineer (IT Operations)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team and provide reliable, hands‑on technology support to employees across the organization. You will resolve day‑to‑day issues involving laptops, applications, accounts, networking, collaboration tools, and workplace technology while building a strong foundation in IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1/L2 support for hardware, software, applications, networking, user accounts and workplace technology.
• Troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and overall network connectivity.
• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, user account provisioning, authentication and device deployment.
• Configure, deploy, maintain and recover laptops, operating systems, business applications and collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain IT assets, inventory, service requests and incidents through an ITSM platform, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors, escalating complex issues and continuously improving the support experience.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support or IT Operations with hands‑on Windows/macOS environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, peripherals, printers, mobile devices and business applications.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN) and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Self‑driven, employee‑focused, eager to learn and capable of working independently or within a team.
