IT Support Engineer I

About the role

Join Alegeus as an IT Support Engineer I, providing technical support to keep employees productive, connected, and supported in a fast‑paced fintech and healthtech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical resource, resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues.
• Manage and prioritize incoming support requests while delivering timely updates and excellent customer service.
• Partner with IT and business teams to troubleshoot complex problems, coordinate escalations, and improve operational performance.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SharePoint, telephony platforms, Azure Virtual Desktop, and endpoint management tools.
• Identify process improvements, create user‑friendly documentation, and implement best practices.
• Configure workstations, system access, and technical resources for new‑hire onboarding.

Required profile

• Strong customer service, communication, analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and time‑management abilities; capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience supporting Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, SharePoint, endpoint management solutions (MECM/SCCM/Intune), JAMF, Azure administration, remote support tools, and PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
