IT Support Associate

About the role

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate to provide first‑level technical assistance to the operations team in a Fulfillment Center. You will act as a bridge between the IT department and internal customers, helping resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform network engineering and troubleshooting across the facility.
• Manage projects and mentor Technical Support Technicians.
• Install and maintain data cabling, telecom/PBX systems, and other infrastructure.
• Conduct systems administration for diverse hardware and software environments.
• Execute root‑cause analysis and support daily departmental activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of corporate‑setting support experience with Windows, macOS, or Linux.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them quickly.

Required skills

• Support for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Troubleshooting integrated computer systems, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
• Maintenance of Zebra thermal printers.
• Network troubleshooting, data cabling, and telecom/PBX administration.
• Root‑cause analysis and systems administration.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Red Hat Linux, Microsoft hardware installation, AWS (when applicable).
