IT Manager – System Administration & Infrastructure

About the role

Katyayani Organics is looking for a proactive IT Manager to own end‑to‑end IT operations. You will ensure the stability, security and scalability of all systems while supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hardware, software, networking, servers and system administration across the organization.
• Maintain high availability, performance and security of all IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software and network issues with minimal escalation.
• Plan and execute upgrades, preventive maintenance and infrastructure improvements.
• Lead software installation, configuration, testing, deployment and lifecycle management.
• Oversee user access controls, endpoint security, data backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, technical documentation and best practices.
• Coordinate relationships with vendors, service providers and hardware partners.
• Identify automation opportunities, system optimisations and cost‑effective technology solutions.
• Support leadership with IT strategy, audits, compliance, risk management and scalability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or operations management.
• Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of IT operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
