IT Infrastructure & Operations Administrator (Ahmedabad)

About the role

Motadata is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Administrator to manage and secure its corporate IT environment in Ahmedabad. You will play a key role in maintaining servers, networks, and security controls while supporting compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, email, collaboration tools, and end‑user devices.
• Handle software deployment, patch management, endpoint security, backup solutions, and IT asset tracking.
• Support LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, and coordinate with ISPs and vendors.
• Implement and monitor information security controls aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and internal policies.
• Manage IAM, MFA, SSO, vulnerability remediation, and audit documentation for compliance readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, HR, and other teams to improve infrastructure and security posture.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python and maintain up‑to‑date SOPs and documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of corporate IT administration or infrastructure operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2 audit preparation and security controls.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
