IT Engineer – Windows Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

Cambridge Education is seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of its Windows‑based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a research‑driven mindset, ensuring reliable, secure, and up‑to‑date IT services for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Install, configure, and support software, hardware, and operating systems across the organization.
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook email accounts and related issues.
• Deploy and manage antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
• Monitor system performance, ensure maximum uptime, and handle backup, recovery, and system monitoring tasks.
• Provide prompt technical support and resolve user‑facing IT issues.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and IT solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Windows‑based IT environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Passion for staying current with AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation trends.

• Windows OS administration and troubleshooting.
• Windows Server installation, configuration, and management.
