IT and M&E Specialist

About the role

Egis is seeking an experienced IT and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to lead the design, development, and implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) that support programme and project management, urban service delivery, and database management at the state level.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MIS solutions for government and semi‑government programmes.
• Support the implementation of the Monitoring & Evaluation system and ensure accurate reporting.
• Train end‑users and staff on system usage, providing ongoing technical assistance.
• Identify and resolve IT issues related to MIS and database operations.
• Continuously improve IT infrastructure and processes to meet state‑level requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in government, semi‑government, autonomous organisations or reputable private firms.
• Proven experience in designing and developing MIS for programme/project management and urban services.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively and train staff on technical systems.
