IT Administrator – Security & Infrastructure

About the role

As an IT Administrator at YAAS Media you will keep the company’s IT environment secure, resilient and audit‑ready while providing the speed and flexibility needed by creative and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all in‑scope users, devices, critical applications and privileged accounts have an assigned owner and up‑to‑date status.
• Maintain device compliance with baseline standards for MDM, disk encryption, antivirus/EDR, patching and screen‑lock controls.
• Test backups and recovery procedures for critical systems quarterly and document results.
• Resolve critical and high‑risk vulnerabilities and audit findings within agreed timelines.
• Tri­age security incidents promptly, document them and implement corrective actions.
• Keep security and compliance evidence current and easily retrievable for audits.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, endpoint administration and information security within a small or mid‑size organization.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to work directly with users, management, auditors and external vendors.
• Risk‑based mindset that balances security controls with creative workflow needs.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS administration, including MDM, patching, disk encryption and endpoint protection.
• Google Workspace administration, user/group management and MFA.
• Networking fundamentals – Wi‑Fi, firewalls, routers, VLANs and secure remote administration.
• NAS and cloud backup management, restore testing, retention policies and recovery procedures.
• Vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking and incident response.
• Log review, access reviews, risk register maintenance and audit evidence collection.
• Familiarity with SureMDM, TP‑Link Omada, AWS S3/Glacier and security frameworks (ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST).
