IT Administrator – Infrastructure & Cloud Management

About the role

The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the company’s internal infrastructure, cloud environments, and end‑user services. This role ensures reliable network operations, secure systems, and smooth onboarding and off‑boarding of employees.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain internal networks, servers, firewalls, and endpoint devices (Windows, Mac, Linux).
• Manage and monitor cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as SaaS applications like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce.
• Oversee IT aspects of the employee lifecycle: provision hardware, create accounts, manage access permissions, and support onboarding/off‑boarding.
• Implement IT security policies, conduct system audits, manage data backups, and ensure compliance with data‑protection regulations.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and coordinate with vendors for procurement and renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role, preferably in a software development or IT services environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching).
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or modern identity‑management systems.
• Proficiency in cloud administration (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to write basic automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or MCSA are highly preferred.
