IT Administrator / DevOps (Onsite) – Jaipur

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator / DevOps professional to join our client’s team in Jaipur. You will provide first‑ and second‑level support, maintain the internal IT infrastructure and help automate operations using modern DevOps tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software and system issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems on Linux and Windows devices.
• Administer and maintain networks, workstations, peripheral devices and related systems.
• Install, configure and update hardware and software using automation tools such as Puppet.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures, including antivirus, backups and recovery processes.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and permissions with OpenLDAP.
• Write Bash and Python scripts for system automation.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues in Germany and support client‑facing technical activities.
• Document IT systems, configurations, processes and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding from an IT access perspective.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Programming skills in Python and Bash for automation.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenLDAP and Puppet.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
