IT Admin Executive

About the role

CallHippo is seeking an IT Admin Executive to manage and optimise its network and system infrastructure. The role involves ensuring reliable performance, security, and support for all internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, servers, and computer systems.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, routers, switches, firewalls, and operating systems.
• Implement security protocols, access controls, antivirus systems, and backup procedures.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and performance optimisation.
• Maintain data backup, recovery, and disaster management procedures.
• Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures.
• Monitor system logs and generate reports on network performance and security.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and procurement.
• Provide technical assistance to employees for IT‑related concerns.
• Supervise and mentor junior IT support staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers and cloud‑based infrastructure (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, access points, and network security tools.
• Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+ or similar) are a plus.
