About the role
One Hop Organics is seeking a full‑time Irrigation Technician to join its Bengaluru team. You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, operating and maintaining precision irrigation systems across a variety of green‑infrastructure projects, including landscaped areas, vertical gardens and rooftop installations.
Key responsibilities
- Install and commission Hunter or Rainbird irrigation systems according to design specifications.
- Monitor water distribution, system pressure and flow to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and document all activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, sensor faults and control‑unit malfunctions.
- Coordinate with supervisors and landscape teams to adjust irrigation schedules and support fertigation operations.
- Record system performance data, follow safety and environmental guidelines, and suggest improvements.
Required profile
- Diploma or Engineering degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in design and installation of irrigation systems, preferably with Hunter or Rainbird products.
