IOT (Java + AWS) Tech Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the design and delivery of IoT solutions built on Java and AWS. The role involves leading global delivery teams, shaping cloud architecture, and ensuring seamless migration from traditional to cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and design end‑to‑end Java‑based IoT solutions on AWS.
• Define AWS architecture, cost estimates, and DevOps/CICD pipelines.
• Lead global teams, conduct code reviews, build proofs of concept, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, manage operations and maintenance planning, and enforce Agile best practices.
• Oversee cloud‑to‑cloud and data‑cloud migration projects.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of Java development experience.
• 2‑3+ years of hands‑on AWS development and deployment.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary, geographically distributed teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) and 8‑10 years total experience.

Required skills

• Java, OOP, design patterns, data structures.
• AWS services: VPC, IoT Core, EC2, Serverless, databases, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
• DevOps tools: Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with cloud/hybrid architecture, migration, security, and troubleshooting.
