Invoice Associate

About the role

The Invoice Associate will manage payment requests for all HR services, acting as the strategic link between the teams that need to make payments and the finance areas responsible for them. You will work within BASF's new Global Hub in India, collaborating with finance and HR functions across a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Create service sheets and purchase requests in SAP for HR‑related payments such as fleet, benefits, and recognition programs.
• Track payments and approvals for invoices entered into the system.
• Escalate any issues in the payment flow promptly.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, answering questions and following up on payment processes.
• Participate in local and regional projects related to HR finance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for the invoicing process.
• Provide support to the broader HR Connect, People Data & Total Rewards team.

Required profile

• Advanced university studies in Administration, Accounting, Labor Relations or related fields.
• 1‑3 years of experience in administrative, accounting or similar roles.
• Effective communication, customer orientation, analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced level in Spanish and Portuguese; intermediate level in English.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
