Inventory Manager

About the role

We are seeking a young, analytical Chartered Accountant to own inventory governance across our warehouses and job‑worker locations. The role combines accounting expertise with hands‑on inventory management in a fast‑growing specialty chemicals company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory reconciliation across warehouses and job workers.
• Lead physical verification (PV) and record adjustment entries.
• Analyse stock variances, ageing, and slow‑moving inventory.
• Ensure GST compliance for job‑work transactions.
• Strengthen internal controls and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare inventory MIS and analytics for the leadership team.
• Handle audits and due‑diligence activities related to inventory.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments (preferred).
• High ownership mindset and strong analytical abilities.
