About the role
The Inventory Count Analyst will support Vestas' Global Service Supply Chain by ensuring accurate physical stock counts across the AME region. This role is essential for maintaining reliable service operations, optimizing working capital and guaranteeing material availability for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule, plan and coordinate annual physical stock counts with regional stakeholders and warehouse teams.
- Execute inventory transactions and stock reconciliations in IM and WM systems to keep records up‑to‑date.
- Investigate, analyse and resolve quantity and location discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and align count activities with Finance timelines.
- Review product codes and documentation to identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost inventory accuracy and reduce supply‑chain costs.
- Prepare and present monthly inventory and financial reports to management.
- Support audit requirements and ensure proper documentation of count results.
Required profile
- 3‑7 years of experience in inventory stock‑count or cycle‑count activities.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on warehouse experience.
- Graduation in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent postgraduate qualification).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Inventory Management (IM) systems.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management (WM) systems.
